We find that many people have similar questions so here are some frequently asked enquiries relating to the Inogen Rove 4.

Can I exercise whilst using the Rove 4?

The answer regarding exercising when using the Rove 4 is of course ‘yes’. Many of the users of the Rove 4 lead an active life, whether that means going for walks with friends, playing golf, shopping or spending time out with family and children. Some users even go to the gym whilst using their portable oxygen concentrator. As the Rove 4 is FAA approved you can also travel abroad for holidays, business trips or to visit your friends and family. Depending on your usage and which battery pack you use, it can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The Rove 4 comes with a carry bag but you can also opt for a back pack or hip bag to facilitate continuing your activities.

How long will the battery last?

The Rove 4 comes with a standard battery pack which will last up to 3 hours.  However, you can choose to use an intermediate battery which will extend the use to up to 4 hours 15 minutes.  If you need more reassurance or a longer battery duration you can select the extended battery pack option, which will give you capacity for delivering oxygen for up to 5 hours 45 minutes. Batteries can all be recharged using AC or DC power. For more information on specific battery usage you can see the specification table in the Rove 4 brochure.

Is the Rove 4 heavy?

The Rove 4 is a portable oxygen concentrator and is therefore designed to be carried by the user.  It is lightweight and compact.  If using the standard battery pack the Rove 4 weighs only 1.3kg (2.9 lbs).  This only increases by 0.1kg with each increase in battery pack size. As the Rove 4 only measures 14.8 cm (L) x 6.7cm (W) x 19cm (H) when using the standard battery, it is smaller than the average handbag.  As mentioned above you can select a backpack or hip bag to carry this portable oxygen concentrator rather than the carry bag if you find that easier.
The Rove 4 is also quiet and bright making it easy to use as well as to carry.  To find out more about this and other portable oxygen concentrators available from Pure O2 give our friendly team of experts a call on 0161 747 2617.
