Oxygen Concentrator

Caire Freestyle Comfort Portable Oxygen Concentrator

Pure O2 provides a wide range of portable oxygen concentrators from a selection of reputable manufacturers.  In this article we are focusing on the Caire Freestyle Comfort.  This unit has many advantages which we will highlight below but one of the key points to mention is that it can be used with an 8 cell or a 16 cell variant which can be interchanged when you are out and about.  This gives you peace of mind that you will have power all day without needing a power supply. To find out more about this unit read on…

The Caire Freestyle Comfort has an ergonomic shape

What do we mean by an ‘ergonomic’ shape you might wonder?  The Caire Freestyle Comfort portable oxygen concentrator has a curved back so it sits comfortably against your body.  You can carry the unit over your shoulder using the padded shoulder strap, which attaches directly to the unit or in its carry bag.  It is lightweight, weighing in at just 5lbs or 2.3kg when using the 8 cell battery pack and 6lbs or 2.7kg when using the 16 cell battery pack.

How long will the 8 cell and 16 cell battery packs last?

As we mentioned above there are two sizes of cell variants for use with the Caire Freestyle Comfort portable oxygen concentrator.  The smaller of the two options – the 8 cell will last for 4 hours when used on setting 2.  The 16 cell variant being double the size lasts double the time. When used on setting 2 it will provide you with 8 hours of power to give you the oxygen you need whilst you are out and about.

What else you need to know about the Caire Freestyle Comfort portable oxygen concentrator?

If you are using a portable oxygen concentrator for the first time you might be concerned about how easy it is to use.  As you can see the display is very clear with only three buttons – the on/off button along with a plus and minus button.  The display very clearly shows you how much battery power the cell currently has so you know how long until you need to replace the battery. In addition to the clear display there is also an audible alarm which sounds to warn you if the battery is getting low or if the cannula has become detached.  To find out the finer details and full specifications see the Caire Freestyle Comfort page under Portable O2.
